About This Spot
Stepping into Trailhead Restaurant in Riverton is like settling into a well-worn cabin where the scent of hearty meals and fresh coffee wraps around you like a familiar welcome. The place carries a quiet, steady rhythm—busy but unhurried—where local chatter mingles with the soft clink of dishes and the warm gleam of wood-paneled walls. Stained glass windows and antique touches lend a gentle charm, inviting guests to linger over plates that echo comfort and simplicity.
This family-minded spot embraces a cozy, home-away-from-home vibe. It’s the kind of place where the salad bar still holds a special place in the dining room, a refreshing touch among the more traditional fare that’s served with generous portions and a sincere smile. A nice meal, I got the soup and salad bar ( it was one of the last around) lots of wood as furnishing, comfortable. A few years ago I stopped for breakfast, wasn't very hungry and just ordered a cinnamon roll. It came out on a 10 inch plate and took up most all the plate , and to top it off it had a 1/4 cup of icing not heart healthy but very good. I see on the menu they have one with strawberry puree? On it. I'll have to see if I can get down there one morning

Cute little restaurant. Busy place with average service and cheap n cheerful food ..they offer a salad bar which hasn't been seen in the restaurant industry for years. It looked fresh and.fill.of healthy ingredients. I would stop in again in the future . Thank you

My wife and I had breakfast here and the food was beyond filling and good! We grabbed the breakfast burrito and the French Toast and couldn’t have asked for it any better. The waitress was kind and attentive with our needs and the place/atmosphere was very comforting. Will gladly return back here again and recommend others to stop by!

This is so hometown. We went Saturday morning, and you could tell who the regulars were. They all had coffee and waitresses knew their orders. We had the funniest waitress. They have a mountain man breakfast--2 eggs and has browns + meat on one plate & 2 really big biscuits with sausage gravy on the other. You can get 1/2. My husband ordered it. "You want 1/2?" She said. "No, the whole thing." "Uh huh, I've seen this before..." He took 1/2 of it home. That said, it is super good food reasonably priced. The place looks like a mountain man built it and had a very clever wife decorate it. Log cabin-like with stained glass windows and quilts for curtains. And I always say you can tell alot about a place by the state of bathroom. Super clean and well appointed.

I had the Chicken Fried Steak. It was nice because the overall breading was less then the thickness of the steak. More meat less breading.
